Conference Guide for Android
Conference Guide for Android is now available (free) on Android Market! Here are two screenshots of what the app looks like:

If you are viewing this page on an Android device, you can click this link [1] to download the app from the market. Here is a QR Code of the same link:
1. If you try to view the Android Market link above in a web browser on your computer, you will get a “Not Found” page. Although the Android Market homepage lists the most popular applications, it currently does not allow you to browse all applications in the market. There are a few unofficial web sites that allow you to do that though, like this one.

The link is broken!

No it’s not. It only works when used from an Android device. The problem is that Android phones don’t have the equivalent of iTunes so you can only install an Android app from your Android device.

Stefan,
I agree the link (http://market.android.com/search?q=pname:de.conferencegui.android) is confusing since it does not work when using a web browser on your computer. But from an Android phone, it does work.
An alternative would be to use a link on the format market://search?q=pname:de.conferencegui.android, but our blog seems to filter that out from the blog post. Probably a security setting that we need to change.

The worst problem is that Android Marketplace shows a 404 page with the first link instead of showing an error page that explains that this address is only accessible from an Android phone. This is really wrong from Google.
